Joe Jackson was often in my music mix in the early 80's. I remember him putting on a great show at Woolman Rink in Central Park in about 1979 or '80. One of the things I like about Joe is how girl-centric these tunes are. . .for a gay singer-songwriter.

joe jackson is the shit. i found a couple of his records at a thrift store like five years ago. there are some serious cuts on his albums, although i'm not totally sold on everything he's ever done.
a d.j., peanutbutterwolf, did a really awesome remix or mashup or something recently with "steppin' out" that is really, really rad.
