Is Seattle the Bangkok of international beast-sex tourism? Feds uncover a new NW sex farm.

By Jack Brummet, All This Is That Social Mores and Ethics Correspondent with additional research by Pablo Fanque, National Affairs Editor, Illustration by Jack Brummet

Is Seattle the Bangkok of international beast-sex tourism?  Well, you do have to wonder, with this weeks latest news of British tourists visiting the Seattle area.  Apparently, the sex farm advertised heavily in European and British publications and websites.

International Animal Sex Ring Discovered in Whatcom County

"Federal investigators have uncovered an international sex ring that involves farm animals in Whatcom County.

Agents say people from around the world were invited to stay at the farm near Sumas and abuse the animals.

"This is an extremely bizarre case and very shocking for seasoned law enforcement people," said Whatcom County Sheriff Bill Elfo.

Elfo says dogs, horses and mice were seized from Spink's property. The mice had their tails cut off, were smothered in Vaseline and had to be euthanized [ed's note: we really appear to be "euthanizing" the wrong parties in this case].

You can read the entire story here, on MyNorthwest.com.

As you may or may not know, Pablo Fanque and Jack Brummet have previously (and perversely) covered this topic extensively on All This Is That.  Some links to previous articles and postings:

Horsing around: Co-conspirator in Enumclaw beastiality/horse sex case arrested in Tennessee

As you may or may not know, All This Is That has [too?] extensively covered the Enumclaw beastiality/horse sex case over the last four years. I grew up in that neck of the woods, and while a lot of my friends had horses, we never really considered them potential f*** buddies.

But once again, the Enumclaw beastiality case makes its way back into the news as two men face animal cruelty charges for sex acts with a horse. The "authorities" found more than 100 videotapes showing Tait and others engaging in sex with animals.

According to the Columbia [Tennessee] Daily Herald, authorities arrested 58-year-old James Michael Tait and charged him with three counts of animal cruelty. Fellow horse f***er, Kenny Thomason, 44, faces two counts. Thompson, according to authorities, was actually not involved in the sex acts, but allowed the crime to continue. Tait is in the Maury County, Tennessee Jail, in lieu of the $125,000 bond.

Authorities say Tait repeatedly engaged in sex acts with a stud horse [ed's note: why wouldn't you select a filly?] at a farm. A police captain reportedly discovered pictures of Tait in flagrante. They didn't mention how the Captain found the photographs--on the internet?, or perhaps he was called by a clerk at the local Foto-Mat?

In 2005, the Seattle Police charged Tait with making a videotape of a friend engaging in sex acts with a horse. The friend died from internal injuries. However, due to our state's laws at the time, authorities could only charge Tait with trespassing. He pleaded guilty, served a year of probation ,and paid a $300 fine. Since then, the Washington State legislature actually enacted a law prohibiting beastiality here. Apparently Tennessee has dealt with this issue before.

Horsin' Around? Shades of the Enumclaw horse sex case--another Washington State man succumbs to the lure of a smokin' filly

Will this turn out to be a callback to the Enumclaw Horse Sex case? [ed's note: For whatever reason, some of the highest hits on All This Is That from Google, Yahoo, Bing, and other search engines are for the horse sex stories we published a few years ago. The other high hits are also usually related to something especially salacious, scandalous, or fictional (which are mostly salacious AND scandalous) that appear here...]

According to the Associated Press, a pantless, Finley, Washington man is accused of harassing a neighbor's horse. And "trespassing." The Tri-City Herald said the horse owner found the man with no pants chasing a horse at three-thirty a.m. Benton County sheriff's deputies identified a 26-year-old man, living next door, as the suspect. He was jailed for investigation of trespassing. Deputies also were called to the home Thursday evening when the owner "saw the same bald man scaring the horse enough to break through an electrical and barb-wire fence." He was wearing a black T-shirt and had pants on this time.
