Color Perception & Optical Illusions

Square A and Square B are indeed the same color (I checked in Photoshop tm).

    That's why Walt Disney could say of Mary Blair (who did the coloring for It's a Small World) - "she's invented colors no one has seen before." In other words, she combined colors like no one Walt Disney had seen before.
