Poem: Changes Eleven/Peace
1
Heaven and earth unite
In an image of Peace
When grass is pulled up
The sod comes with it
There is no one
Without the other
2
No plain is not followed by a slope
No going not followed by a return
No relief exists without discomfort
And no woman without a man
Or man without a woman
Or a virus without a host
3
One who courts danger
Is testing and exploring
The very margins
Of life
4
The wall falls back into the moat
The king's body hangs naked
From the flagpole
A ruler is toppled
And the condition exists
For the next leader to emerge.

"Peace" is a very beatiful word. It
should be grown in the very beautiful heart.
Let us share what Rumi had said :
"Everything that is made beautiful and fair and lovely
is made for the eye of one who sees."
[From : Mathnawi, translated by Camille and Kabir Helminski].
