quick remark. that's actually a picture of Queen Ranavalona III and not Ranavalona I (who, by the way, is not universally regarded as a 'villain' in Madagascar).
You are absolutely right! I found that out a while ago...the picture I used for the painting was mislabeled. And I do know she was not considered a villain by all. That's kind of true of a lot of my "villains" in this series. After all, even Hitler had his admirers. /jack
Comparison to hitler (no capital H for this guy) may be too harsh. After all Queen Ranavalona I only attempted to protect her country whereas hitler tried to conquer Europe. A better comparison would be too General Lee :-) RAZAFY Lerina Jean-Yves
