One Adam Twelve: the phonetic cop alphabet and the NATO phonetic alphabet

The LAPD phonetic alphabet is an alphabet used by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and other California law enforcement agencies.  It is used for telephone and over the air communication for properly understanding a broadcast of letters in the as easily understood words.
