Jack writing in from Boston, Mass:
You remember the wonderful Saturday Night Live appearance when Elvis Costello burned Lorne Michaels and played Radio Radio? He stopped in the middle of the song Michaels wanted, and started over, playing Radio Radio. This video is a callback to that episode, performed with the Beastie Boys on a Saturday Night Live anniversary show.
The original performance is also here on All This Is That: Video (and lyrics): Elvis Costello performs Radio Radio on SNL after a false start on Less Than Zero
Bonus video, since were here: Oliver's Army. Weak videom great song.

Jackie, catch the bus, I'll pick you up at the Port of Authority.
Are you listening to his new podcast? He's telling the story of the first ten years of his career.
Kev - I wish I could. You don't know how lame Boston actually is, when NYC is within striking distance.
Tom -- I have got to start listening to these Elvis podcasts. I didn't know... Thanks!
Of course I knew it was a long shot but it's funny that you ended up in Newark for a wacky connecting work around to your traveling snafus. It sounds like you doubled or tripled your take offs/landings to this last journey. No wonder you're writing poems about jet flight lately. And, Jack, here is something to file in the back of your mind. You may have heard of the annual Falcon Ridge Folk Festival in Hillsdale, NY. I notice that this year's festival features some of the acts you reviewed in your last Austin Save the Lake post. Hillsdale is just 15 minutes from our place in Austerlitz. In coming years, you and K could coordinate with one of your Beantown trips. Just a couple of hours via the Mass Pike and you know that you're always welcome. Let us know and I'll set a key out for you.
