The Del McCoury band play My love Will Not Change
As I have slowly drifted away from jazz (but not rock) over the years, 'grass and country have filled the vacuum. The Del McCoury band are among the high practicioners of bluegrass

Hey Jack - long time no post.
Last year I saw Del McCoury in Woodstock AND at the Grey Fox Bluegrass in upstate NY not far from my place. Amazing!
And it only gets better - I caught The Gourds in Manhattan on April 1. I am in awe of their talent and originality and wonder why they don't fill bigger venues.
Hey Pete - I have never seen Del, but have wanted to. I have seen the gourds--at home in Austin. Awesome. I don't why they never hit it big(ger) either..
All is well. . .the game busines is hit, but not as hard as elsewhere. Seattle itself is good--a new music scene has developed...more roots music and less grunge/smack...
Are you living upstate full time & commuting, or are you shuttling back and forth?
I *may* be there in a month a half or so...so Suagerties/Woodstock. Not sure yet...

What's up in the Rainy City?
