The Sphinx and Pyramids in flux

The Sphinx in 1890, and recently, from the nearby Pizza Hut. You can no longer actually climb or even touch touch The Sphinx, but you can climb around some of the pyramids. Most photos show these monuments in a vast desert, but they are actually on the outskirts of Cairo and Giza, in easy walking distance.
