The four corners of Utah, Colorado, Nex Mexico, and Arizona

by Jack Brummet, Travel Ed.

I love to stop at every corny tourist attraction (baby kangaroo petting zoo, Paul Bunyan and Babe on Hwy 101, rock shops, the Montana testicle festival, roadside monuments and overlooks, chainsaw carving joints, Area 51, and many more).

Today I was tragically thwarted in a lifelong quest—to go to Four Corners & take a picture straddling four great states. I'll settle for this.

After the Elks football game, Springerville, Arizona 1972

By Jack Brummet

This is a pretty interesting photographic print I found in a Goodwill about 20 years ago.  I can't decipher the photographer's name, but the legend in pencil beneath the print says "Homecoming Springerville, Arizona.  Elks. 1972."
