The Quarrymen were a Liverpool skiffle/rock band, formed by John Lennon in Liverpool in 1956. By 1960, they had evolved into The Beatles. This poster is from one of their early gigs, playing at a garden show/dog display/costume parade. Macca would join the band a few months after this show, and George Harrison joined in early 1958. Ringo joined The Beatles in 1962, after they sacked their drummer Pete Best.

The Traveling Wilburys "The End Of The Line"
This is a most bittersweet video. Somewhere between the time when they recorded this originally, and when they shot the video, Lefty Wilbury a/k/a Roy Orbison, passed on (his name is a tribute to country great Lefty Frizzell). This video shows Orbison's guitar rocking in a chair as the rest of the group play, followed by a brief shot focused on a framed picture of Roy.

Video and lyrics for Bob Dylan's My Back Pages
So, once again, here is the BobFest video, along with the lyrics.
My Back Pages
by Bob Dylan
Crimson flames tied through my ears
Rollin' high and mighty traps
Pounced with fire on flaming roads
Using ideas as my maps
"We'll meet on edges, soon," said I
Proud 'neath heated brow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.
Half-wracked prejudice leaped forth
"Rip down all hate," I screamed
Lies that life is black and white
Spoke from my skull. I dreamed
Romantic facts of musketeers
Foundationed deep, somehow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.
Girls' faces formed the forward path
From phony jealousy
To memorizing politics
Of ancient history
Flung down by corpse evangelists
Unthought of, though, somehow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.
A self-ordained professor's tongue
Too serious to fool
Spouted out that liberty
Is just equality in school
"Equality," I spoke the word
As if a wedding vow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.
In a soldier's stance, I aimed my hand
At the mongrel dogs who teach
Fearing not that I'd become my enemy
In the instant that I preach
My pathway led by confusion boats
Mutiny from stern to bow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.
Yes, my guard stood hard when abstract threats
Too noble to neglect
Deceived me into thinking
I had something to protect
Good and bad, I define these terms
Quite clear, no doubt, somehow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.

Video: Bob Dylans Love Minus Zero/No Limits, performed with a few pals - Leon Russell, Billy Preston, Eric Clapton, George Harrison and Ringo Starr
Love Minus Zero/No Limit
by Bob Dylan
My love she speaks like silence,
Without ideals or violence,
She doesn't have to say she's faithful,
Yet she's true, like ice, like fire.
People carry roses,
Make promises by the hours,
My love she laughs like the flowers,
Valentines can't buy her.
In the dime stores and bus stations,
People talk of situations,
Read books, repeat quotations,
Draw conclusions on the wall.
Some speak of the future,
My love she speaks softly,
She knows there's no success like failure
And that failure's no success at all.
The cloak and dagger dangles,
Madams light the candles.
In ceremonies of the horsemen,
Even the pawn must hold a grudge.
Statues made of match sticks,
Crumble into one another,
My love winks, she does not bother,
She knows too much to argue or to judge.
The bridge at midnight trembles,
The country doctor rambles,
Bankers' nieces seek perfection,
Expecting all the gifts that wise men bring.
The wind howls like a hammer,
The night blows cold and rainy,
My love she's like some raven
At my window with a broken wing.

The Beatles: Please Mr. Postman video and lyrics
(Stop)
Oh yes, wait a minute Mister Postman
(Wait)
Wait Mister Postman
Please Mister Postman, look and see
(Oh yeah)
If there's a letter in your bag for me
(Please, Please Mister Postman)
Why's it takin' such a long time
(Oh yeah)
For me to hear from that boy of mine
There must be some word today
From my boyfriend so far away
Pleas Mister Postman, look and see
If there's a letter, a letter for me
I've been standin' here waitin' Mister Postman
So patiently
For just a card, or just a letter
Sayin' he's returnin' home to me
(Mister Postman)
Mister Postman, look and see
(Oh yeah)
If there's a letter in your bag for me
(Please, Please Mister Postman)
Why's it takin' such a long time
(Oh yeah)
For me to hear from that boy of mine
So many days you passed me by
See the tears standin' in my eyes
You didn't stop to make me feel better
By leavin' me a card or a letter
(Mister Postman)
Mister Postman, look and see
(Oh yeah)
If there's a letter in your bag for me
(Please, Please Mister Postman)
Why's it takin' such a long time
(Why don't you check it and see one more time for me, you gotta)
Wait a minute
Wait a minute
Wait a minute
Wait a minute
(Mister Postman)
Mister Postman, look and see
(C'mon deliver the letter, the sooner the better)
Mister Postman

Video (and lyrics) Not Alone Anymore...by Roy Orbison & The Traveling Wilburys
This song, from late in Roy Orbison's short life, was one of the finest The Wilburys recorded. And Roy is absolutely at the top of his game. It's one of my favorite Orbison tunes ever. It's a sweet, poppy, rock and C/W tinged gem. Thank you Roy!
Not Alone Any More
You always said that I’d be back again, that I’d come running to you in the end.
I thought that you were on your own, (sha la la la, sha la la la)
and now I find you're not alone. (sha la la la)
(Not alone) I’ll see you through the rain, (not alone) through the heartache and pain,
(not alone) it hurts like never before, you're not alone anymore.
You always said that I would know some day just how it feels when your love's gone away.
I let you down, I let you go, (sha la la la, sha la la la) I lost you, how was I to know? (sha la la la)
(Not alone) I see you through the rain, (not alone) through the heartache and pain,
(not alone) it hurts like never before, you're not alone anymore.
I never knew I could feel this way, I never could see past yesterday.
You feel that everything is gone, (sha la la la, sha la la la)
I feel it too, you're not alone. (sha la la la)
(Not alone) I’ll see you through the rain, (not alone) through the heartache and pain,
(not alone) it hurts like never before, you're not alone, you're not alone,
you're not alone anymore, any more, any more.
