Alien Lore No. 236 - UFO flyover in the Pacific Northwest (at the Vancouver, B.C. Jazz Festival)
By Jack Brummet, Alien Lore Editor
This short streaming Facebook video was recorded by Ustream.tv on June 24, 2012. It appears to show some unexpected visitors in a flyover at a Vancouver International Jazz Festival night performance. "A large, bright fast-moving object and a smaller pulsating orb were both captured with digital night vision by the Vancouver UFO Skywatch (VUFOS) in the northern sky at times when no such objects were predicted by online satellite tracking tables"

Alien Lore No. 215 - Alien Flyby Over Mecca?
By Jack Brummet
Unexplained Phenomena Editor
This video was recorded in the holy town of Mecca. Mecca is the birthplace of prophet Muhammad and a site of the composition of the Quran. Mecca is as the holiest city in Islam and a pilgrimage to it, known as the Hajj, is obligatory upon all able-bodied Muslims.
The recording shows a cluster of unidentified bright objects flying in the night sky. Some of the UFOs flew in clusters upward and others flew sideways or downwards, as if they couldn't decide which end was up. . .
Mecca? Really? Were The Greys trying to create a high-profile fly-by?

Alien Lore No. 214 - The alien pig of Santa Cruz El Chol
People in a remote Guatemalan village—Santa Cruz El Chol—believe that a piglet's human-like head is the result of Visitors. The night of its birth in August, many strange bright lights were spotted hovering in the sky over the town, leading villagers to believe that the pig's appearance is due to aliens from outer space.

Alien Lore No. 207 - The Greys, Betty and Barney Hill, and Zeta Reticuli
By Jack Brummet
Paranormal aficionados, UFOlogists and even, once in a blue moon, a scholar or professor, make wild and fairly contradictory assertions about just exactly what The Greys are--machines?, Extraterrestrial Biological Entities/ETs?, extradimensionals?, monsters?, or maybe even the mind-effing ability of a far greater intelligence to project virtual Greys into our world? The focus of Alien Lore took a sharp turn with stories of the Betty and Barney Hill abduction claim and the role of The Greys in that.
Greys are usually depicted as short, grey-skinned beings with only a suggestion of, or completely missing, noses, ears, breasts, or sexual organs. The are small chested, and have no muscular definition or visible skeletal structure. Their legs are shorter and jointed differently those of homo sapiens. Their humerus and thigh bones are the same lengths as their forearms and shins, respectively.
According to Wikipedia, "Among reports of supposed alien encounters, Greys make up approximately 50 percent in Australia, 43 percent in the United States, 90 percent in Canada, 67 percent in Brazil, 20 percent in Continental Europe, and around 12 percent in Great Britain."
H.G. Wells wrote in Man of the Year Million in the 19th century about tiny Greys with big heads. His 1901 novel, The First Men in the Moon describes moon natives as grey skinned, big headed, with large black eyes and wasp wings (very similar to our contemporary Greys without the wings). Wells also describes aliens resembling Greys brought down to Earth as food by the antagonists of his novel, and most enduring work, The War of the Worlds.
Betty and Barney Hill, claimed to have been abducted by alien beings and taken to a saucer-shaped spaceship in 1961. And this is where Zeta Reticuli enters alien lore. The term "Greys" did not come into usage until many years later, but the beings described by the Hills fit many of the common traits of what we now call Greys. An elementary school teacher and amateur astronomer, Marjorie Fish, concluded that the home planet of these beings as shown in a star map drawn by Betty Hill, was located in the Zeta Reticuli star system (their home planet is thought to be the fourth planet of the second star of Reticulum). The Greys became known in alien lore as Zeta Reticulans. During the 1990s, popular culture began to increasingly link the ZR Greys to a dizzying number of military-industrial complex/New World Order conspiracy theories.
A well known example of this was the TV series The X-Files, that combined the quest to find proof of the existence of The Greys with UFO conspiracy theory subplots, to form its story arc. Other notable examples include the great and short-lived series, Dark Skies, first broadcast in 1996, which expanded upon the Majestic 12 conspiracy.
Dr. Steven Greer, founder of the Disclosure Project, head of CSETI, and a prominent UFO conspiracy theorist, has publicly presented over 400 "government, military, and intelligence community witnesses" that have offered testimony to the existence of aliens and UFO and/or efforts to cover up their existence and who have stated that they would be willing to defend their claims under oath.
Alas, the odds are stacked against anyone even being able to study whether all this is true or not... Stanton Friedman considers the general attitude of mainstream academics as arrogant and dismissive, and bound to a world view that disallows any evidence contrary to previously held notions.
Ridicule and a loss of status prevents scientists from pursuing the study UFOs. J. Allen Hynek
commented, "Ridicule is not part of the scientific method and people should not be taught that it is." Hynek said of the frequent dismissal of UFO reports by astronomers that the critics know nothing about the sightings, and should thus not be taken seriously. Peter A. Sturrock suggests that a lack of funding is a major factor in the institutional disinterest in UFOs.

Alien Lore No. 166 - U.S. Officials In Meetings With The Greys, According To The Examiner.com
Thanks to Dr. Stephen Clarke-Willson for directing me to this story.
According to a story published late in December by The Examiner, "Independent sources have claimed an on-going set of face-to-face meetings between U.S. military officials and extraterrestrial life. The sources reveal that senior U.S. Navy officers have played a leading role in an inter-services working group responsible for the meetings, and that different extraterrestrial groups are allegedly involved."
These meetings are alleged to include high Navy officials (Source A among them) and were follow-up meetings to earlier conclaves with United Nations officials. Source A says he was directly involved in meetings with two separate alien groups about their spacecraft. Leaked reports give strong evidence of an ongoing program of secret meetings involving senior military personnel from the U.S. Navy and other military services with one or more extraterrestrial civilizations.
One source with the Defense Intelligence Agency claimed a large meeting was held in the Johnston Islands (A U.S. Territory near Hawaii that is administered by The Navy):
"The Ebens [ed's note: we typically refer to the Ebens as The Greys here] met on Akau Island with a total of 18 representatives from the U.S., United Nations, Russia, China, the Vatican and certain other guests. U.S. representatives are said to have included five military personnel, two intelligence officers, one linguist and one person representing the Obama administration." This meeting with the extraterrestrials occurred in November, 2009.
"...there are many events revealed in the Serpo story that are very likely based on real events such as President Reagan being secretly briefed at some point about extraterrestrial life. A number of Reagan’s public statements are circumstantial evidence that he did receive such a briefing. An alleged transcript of the briefing was released as part of the Serpo material in November 2007. This author’s assessment is that the Serpo releases mix real events with fiction in an officially sanctioned acclimation program. While the Serpo material requires much discernment given the level of disinformation in it, it is very likely that it accurately reveals the existence of secret military meetings with extraterrestrials..."
The article concludes "there is very real dissatisfaction in the U.S. military, especially officers from the Navy, over the way in which extraterrestrial affairs has been secretly run and managed by a covert transnational group initially known as MJ-12 [ed's note MJ-12 is often known as Majestic, and has written about extensively, and portrayed in the great TV drama "Dark Skies"]. The article also alludes to a cover-up, long discussed by researchers and UFOlogists, in which the existence of the aliens had been hidden from the American public for decades

Alien Lore No. 165 - UFO Hovers Over The Kremlin
[Thanks to Jeff Clinton for suggesting this story]
The hottest video on the Russian YouTube site is film of an alleged UFO hovering over the Kremlin. Some say the triangular craft could be up to a mile in length. As you see in the video clips below, it has been seen in both daylight, and at night.
Russia has become a hotbed in recent years of UFO news, UFO records and investigations made public, and indeed. . .numerous purported alien craft sightings. . .
The video clips, probably shot from a passing car, have gone viral, particularly in the former Soviet Union.
Nick Pope, who has worked on MoD's UFO Desk [ed's note: MoD is the British Ministry of Defense] for three years, called it "one of the most extraordinary UFO clips I've ever seen."\
He said: "At first I thought this was a reflection, but it appears to move behind a power line, ruling out this theory."
Web theorists suggested an air balloon or stunt, but a spokesman for aerospace experts Jane's News said: "We have no idea what it is."

Alien Lore No. 148 - UFOs over San Diego
Thousands of San Diegans reported seeing UFOs--not one. . .a fleet. . .nine to be exact--just after midnight on January 1st, 2009.
The sighting was reported on numerous websites and blogs, and in the old media a/k/a TV-radio-newspapers. See below for a pretty decent YouTube video of the UFO formation. Our favorite comments from godlikeproductions.com website:

- This Is Real.
- good post, we will be seeing more and more of these type of things. getting people ready for disclosure
- priming us already
- Things are gonna get pretty f****n 'weird from here on.
- looks a lot like the Phoenix Lights. Something's going down.
- there will be more and more news reports on tv about ufo sightings. it will get people that don't think about these things to start thinking and maybe talking. also will get people used to the idea that aliens "may" exist.we are definitely getting ready for disclosure.
- They are still offering plausible deniability, so they are not yet at the next level of disclosure.

Alien Lore No. 145 - A landing party rehearses over Saskatoon
A fascinating light show played itself out in the skies of western Canada on Thanksgiving Eve. The light show certainly came from outer space. Some scientists say the lights and fireballs came from a meteor, or meteors. The light show was visible from Alberta to Manitoba, but appeared centered over Saskatchewan. Sure, it may have been a meteor, but we guess most readers of All This Is That will recognize it for what it actually was: an alien landing party in rehearsal maneuvers.

Dennis Kucinich questions The President's mental health and hours later later admits seeing a UFO
Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich questioned President Bush's mental health yesterday because of comments he made about a nuclear Iran causing World War III.
"...we have to start asking questions about his mental health," Kucinich, an Ohio congressman, said in an interview with The Philadelphia Inquirer's editorial board on Tuesday. "There's something wrong. He does not seem to understand his words have real impact."
Later that night, during the Democratic Presidential debate, Representative Kucinich admitted he had seen a UFO (see yesterday's All This Is That).

Alien Lore No. 117: Dennis Kucinich in Democratic debate: : I saw a UFO
In the bizarre finale to last nights Dem debate, Congressman Kucinich responded to a question by Tim Russert, saying yes, he has seen a UFO.
To make it even better, it happened at Shirley MacLaine's house! Kucinich quickly tried to clarify that it was [not a flying saucer, but an "unidentified flying object."
Barack Obama did not bite when asked about life on other planets. "I believe there is life here on Earth," he said, and went on to propose ways of helping the people we know actually live on earth.

Stuart Miller of the UFO Review speaks out about the inter-UFOlogist sniping
One of my favorite sites for UFOlogy is the UFO Review, edited by Stuart Miller. They cover a wide range of paranormal and UFO, and cover the skeptics as well as the fanatic believers. They even link to All This Is That when we publish an article in the Alien Lore series, or art on the UFO or Grey phenomenon. In an editorial yesterday Stuart Miller wisely addressed the UFO wars here on earth:
"My criticisms are directed to those who are convinced science is the answer to the subject of UFOs. It is if we’re dealing with natural phenomena; it isn’t if we aren’t."---o0o---
