You Never Give Me Your Money is one of my all-time top-ten Beatle songs, for sure. Abbey Road may also be my favorite album, but I am not sure I'd go that far--the competition is fierce and spirited. You Never Give Me Your Money starts off the second side of the LP, with its chain of interlocked tunes spanning the entire side.
You never give me your money
- Lennon/McCartney ('though it was actually) written by Macca
You never give me your money
You only give me your funny paper
and in the middle of negotiations
you break down
I never give you my number
I only give you my situation
and in the middle of investigation
I break down
Out of college, money spent
See no future, pay no rent
All the money's gone, nowhere to go
Any jobber got the sack
Monday morning, turning back
Yellow lorry slow, nowhere to go
But oh, that magic feeling, nowhere to go
Oh, that magic feeling
Nowhere to go
Nowhere to go
One sweet dream
Pick up the bags and get in the limousine
Soon we'll be away from here
Step on the gas and wipe that tear away
One sweet dream came true... today
Came true... today
Came true... today...yes it did
One two three four five six seven,
All good children go to Heaven

Characters in Beatles songs (a list)
click the boys to enlarge
I spent some time (probably way too much) tonight writing down the names of every character I remember appearing in a song by The Beatles. I have to have hit somewhere around 90% or so. Remember who you're dealing with here [a codger]. I've been listening to these tunes since around 1963, and more lately since the remastered versions appeared in September, 2009. This was a lot of fun, actually. . .
So, who did I miss?

Frank Zappa's "Takle Your Clothes Off When You Dance" with lyrics
Take Your Clothes Off When You Dance
by Frank Zappa
There will come a time when everybody
Who is lonely will be free...
To sing & dance & love
There will come a time when every evil
That we know will be an evil...
That we can rise above
Who cares if hair is long or short
Or sprayed or partly grayed...
We know that hair ain't where it's at
(there will come a time when you won't
Even be ashamed if you are fat!)
Wah wah-wah wah
There will come a time when everybody
Who is lonely will be free...
To sing & dance & love (dance and love)
There will come a time when every evil
That we know will be an evil...
That we can rise above (rise above)
Who cares if you're so poor you can't afford
To buy a pair of mod a go-go stretch-elastic pants...
There will come a time when you can even
Take your clothes off when you dance

Music Slideo: The Beatles' I'll Be Back (with lyrics)
This is one of my favorite Beatles songs. I as reminded of that last night when Three Girls And Their Buddy covered it at their show in Seattle.
This is an outtake from the Beatles Anthology--one of 16 takes.
I'll Be Back
By John Lennon and Paul McCartney
You know, if you break my heart I'll go
But I'll be back again
'cause I told you once before goodbye
But I came back again
I love you so, oh
I'm the one who wants you
Yes I'm the one who wants you
oh, ho, oh, ho, oh
You could find better things to do
Than to break my heart again
This time I will try to show that I'm
Not trying to pretend
I thought that you would realize
That if I run away from you
that you would want me to
But I got a big surprise
Oh, ho, oh, ho, oh
I want to go, oh
But I hate to leave you
You know I hate to leave
Oh, ho, Oh, ho
You, if you break my heart I'll go
But I'll be back again

Lyrics to the traditional sea shanty "What do we do with a drunken sailor?"
What Shall we do with the Drunken Sailor
What shall we do with the drunken sailor
What shall we do with the drunken sailor
What shall we do with the drunken sailor
Early in the morning
(chorus)
Hoo-ray and up she rises
Hoo-ray and up she rises
Hoo-ray and up she rises
Early in the morning
Shake him take him try to wake him . .
Give him lashings with a rope end .
.
Bathe his wounds with salty water . .
Sling him in the long boat till he's sober . .
Pull out the plug and wet him all over . .
Put him below until he's sober . .
Get a hose and wet him all over . .
Shave his tummy with a rusty razor . .
Send him up the crow's nest until he falls down . .
That's what we'll do with the drunken sailor . .

YouTube slideo: Band of Horses' Ode To LRC (with lyrics)
Ode to LRC. . .another great song from Band of Horses' second album. This Seattle band not long ago moved back to the Carolinas to be closer to their families. . .BoH have been my recent musical obsession (rock department), along with a couple of other NW bands--Telekinesis!, Throw Me The Statue, and The Thermals.
Ode To LRC
In the lobby of the LRC
Well I knew I'd find something
A hundred stroies sittin there to read
I got my focals out I put 'em on
And all is calm, all is calm
Theres a doggie coming here to eat now
Which dated back to 1993
I don't care what the people say 'cause
That dog he don't come around here anymore
No, no the dog is gone, the dog is gone
No, no the dog is gone, the dog is gone
The town is so small
How could anybody not
Look you in the eyes
The way that you drive by
The world is such a wonderful place
The world is such a wonderful...
I see everyone before me, there was birthday sex and sleep
Some weren't getting along
Nobody's outside trying to murder
Nobody's outside, there's no one really at all
What the hell i saw, the hell i saw
The hell i saw, the hell i saw
The town is so small
How could anybody not
Look me in the eyes
The way that I drive by
The world is such a wonderful place
The world is such a wonderful place

Video: Mind by The Talking Heads
A music video culled from a strange documentary on The Talking Heads. It's worth watching--despite the somewhat muddy sound--for the opening religious bit, and for David Byrne's always awesomely bizarre dancing. Mind is one of my favorite TH songs.
Mind
by The Talking Heads
Time won't change you
Money won't change you
I haven't got the faintest idea
Everything seems to be up in the air at this time
I need something you change your mind
Drugs won't change you
Religion won't change you
Science won't change you
Looks like I can't change you
I try to talk to you, to make things clear
but you're not even listening to me...
And it comes directly from my heart to you...
I need something to change your mind.

Amelia by Joni Mitchell from the Shadows and Light tour (with lyrics)
Amelia is one of Joni Mitchell's great songs. . .in my booklet. The imagistic lyrics are gorgeous. This is an "acoustic" version with her soloing on the electric guitar, in one of her alternate tunings. I like the studio, electric version (with Jaco Pastorius) best, but this is very nice.
Amelia
Music and lyrics by Joni Mitchell
I was driving across the burning desert
When I spotted six jet planes
Leaving six white vapor trails across the bleak terrain
It was the hexagram of the heavens
it was the strings of my guitar
Amelia, it was just a false alarm
The drone of flying engines
Is a song so wild and blue
It scrambles time and seasons if it gets thru to you
Then your life becomes a travelogue
Of picture-post-card-charms
Amelia, it was just a false alarm
People will tell you where they've gone
They'll tell you where to go
But till you get there yourself you never really know
Where some have found their paradise
Other's just come to harm
Oh Amelia, it was just a false alarm
I wish that he was here tonight
It's so hard to obey
His sad request of me to kindly stay away
So this is how I hide the hurt
As the road leads cursed and charmed
I tell Amelia, it was just a false alarm
A ghost of aviation
She was swallowed by the sky
Or by the sea, like me she had a dream to fly
Like Icarus ascending
On beautiful foolish arms
Amelia, it was just a false alarm
Maybe I've never really loved
I guess that is the truth
I've spent my whole life in clouds at icy altitude
And looking down on everything
I crashed into his arms
Amelia, it was just a false alarm
I pulled into the Cactus Tree Motel
To shower off the dust
And I slept on the strange pillows of my wanderlust
I dreamed of 747s
Over geometric farms
Dreams, Amelia, dreams and false alarms

Song: Unbroken Chain by The Grateful Dead with lyrics
Unbroken Chain [1] is one of my favorite Dead songs. It was written by their bass player and occasional singer Phil Lesh (check out his autobiography Searching For The Sound, whose title comes from this tune) and his friend Bobby Peterson. They never performed the song live until their last few months on the road--21 years after recording it. [2]
[1] The concept of an "unbroken chain" usually applies to the theory of transmission of authority down across the generations, often used in the sense of religious authority, which fits in well with the song. Religious scholars speak of the "unbroken chain of Moses, Jesus, Paul, Augustine, etc..." (Tenywa, Francis: The Hebraic Tradition.... [dissertation]). An essay on the concept of authority in Dictionary of the History of Ideas: studies of Selected Pivotal Ideas states "The idea of church authority...juxtaposed ideas of authorized power, ... of unbroken binding tradition..." (v. 1, p. 147)

I thought I'd try to fill you in on how the UC went down. NOT trying to rub it in or anything. I don't usually review shows because I find it's subjective. But for those who missed it:
[Some stuff deleted...]
Don't Ease was also a surprise -- 5th song into the set at about 0:35 into it. I thought, "Man!! Short set. I'll be pissed if they walk off the stage after this."
The band stayed on the stage with the lights down after the Don't Ease, and then we knew that SOMETHING was going to happen. All of the band members were looking at each other somewhat anxiously.
Then the opening chords started wafting through quietly, a nervousness and heightened sense of urgency started rushing through the crowd. Isolated shouts of "Unbroken Chain!" could be heard, and then everyone looked at each other as if, "Can it be?" The cheers became louder, swelling as more and more heads realized what was happening, and by the time the first verse rolled around, the place was going absolutely nuts -- bolts of energy flying through the Spectrum.
Band pulls out of the intro, and all four (non-drummers) step up to the mikes, "Blue light rain" Phil with the spotlight, "whoa unbroken chain . . . ." Devastating -- people just screaming their heads off for about 6 seconds, until, almost simultaneously, everyone decided to quiet down and listen.
The jamming part of the song was the highlight, with Jerry all over the fretboard.
Put it this way. It certainly could have been played better, and it will get better with some playing. But you always remember your first.
Of course, the band left the stage to an extended standing ovation. When the house lights went up, everyone sorta looked at each other and then, in a moment of mutual recognition, the whole placed erupted again, lotsa cheering, hugging.
When the band came out for the second set, Phil did a sweeping bow, and of course, the place erupted once again.
Well, that kinda captures it, I think.

Blue light rain, whoa unbroken chain,
Looking for familiar faces in an empty window pane.
Listening for the secret, searching for the sound
But I could only hear the preacher and the baying of his hounds.
Willow sky, whoa, I walk and wonder why,
They say love your brother, but you will catch it when you try.
Roll you down the line boy, drop you for a loss,
Ride you out on a cold railroad and nail you to a cross.
November and more, as I wait for the score,
They're telling me forgiveness is the key to every door.
A slow winter day a night like forever,
Sink like a stone, float like a feather.
(guitar break)
Lilac rain, unbroken chain, song of the sawhet owl.
Out on the mountain, it'll drive you insane, listening to the winds howl
Unbroken chain of sorrow and pearls, unbroken chain of sky and sea.

Music video: Queen performs Bohemian Rhapsody (with lyrics)
I don't know if this is a guilty pleasure or great music. I've always liked it and especially always liked Freddy Mercury's voice. I was thinking about them because they've reformed with a new singer and are on tour at this very moment.
Bohemian Rhapsody
Words and music by Freddie Mercury
Is this the real life-
Is this just fantasy-
Caught in a landslide-
No escape from reality-
Open your eyes
Look up to the skies and see-
Im just a poor boy,i need no sympathy-
Because Im easy come,easy go,
A little high,little low,
Anyway the wind blows, doesnt really matter to me,
To me
Mama,just killed a man,
Put a gun against his head,
Pulled my trigger,now hes dead,
Mama,life had just begun,
But now Ive gone and thrown it all away-
Mama ooo,
Didnt mean to make you cry-
If Im not back again this time tomorrow-
Carry on,carry on,as if nothing really matters-
Too late,my time has come,
Sends shivers down my spine-
Bodys aching all the time,
Goodbye everybody-Ive got to go-
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth-
Mama ooo- (any way the wind blows)
I dont want to die,
I sometimes wish Id never been born at all-
I see a little silhouetto of a man,
Scaramouche, scaramouche will you do the fandango-
Thunderbolt and lightning-very very frightening me-
Galileo,galileo,
Galileo galileo
Galileo figaro-magnifico-
But Im just a poor boy and nobody loves me-
Hes just a poor boy from a poor family-
Spare him his life from this monstrosity-
Easy come easy go-,will you let me go-
Bismillah! no-,we will not let you go-let him go-
Bismillah! we will not let you go-let him go
Bismillah! we will not let you go-let me go
Will not let you go-let me go
Will not let you go let me go
No,no,no,no,no,no,no-
Mama mia, mama mia, mama mia let me go-
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me,for me,for me-
So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye-
So you think you can love me and leave me to die-
Oh baby-cant do this to me baby-
Just gotta get out-just gotta get right outta here-
Nothing really matters,
Anyone can see,
Nothing really matters-,nothing really matters to me,
Any way the wind blows....

Thunderbolt and lightning-very very frightening me-
Galileo,galileo,
Galileo galileo
Galileo figaro-magnifico-
But Im just a poor boy and nobody loves me-
Hes just a poor boy from a poor family-
Spare him his life from this monstrosity-
Easy come easy go-,will you let me go-
Bismillah! no-,we will not let you go-let him go-
Bismillah! we will not let you go-let him go
Bismillah! we will not let you go-let me go
Will not let you go-let me go
Will not let you go let me go
No,no,no,no,no,no,no-
Mama mia, mama mia, mama mia let me go-
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me,for me,for me-
So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye-
So you think you can love me and leave me to die-
Oh baby-cant do this to me baby-
Just gotta get out-just gotta get right outta here-
Nothing really matters,
Anyone can see,
Nothing really matters-,nothing really matters to me,
Any way the wind blows....

My song of the week: Split Enz I Got You (and lyrics)
As often happens, my song of the week falls in the pop zone...and as often happens, it is a song I have heard over the years, and suddenly get lit up on. I passed up opportunities to see Split Enz, and now, nearly 30 years later...I decide I like this song. I like a lot of other Neil Finn (and Crowded House and Finn Brothers) tunes too...
This is a very nice live version:
I Got You
By Neil Finn
I got you - that's all I want
I won't forget - that's a whole lot
I don't go out - now that you're in
Sometimes we shout - but that's no problem
I don't know why sometimes I get frightened
You can see my eyes, you can tell that I'm not lyin'
Look at you - you're a pageant
You're everything - that I've imagined
Something's wrong - I feel uneasy
You show me - tell me you're not teasin'
I don't know why sometimes I get frightened
You can see my eyes, you can tell that I'm not lyin'
There's no doubt - not when I'm with you
When I'm without - I stay in my room
Where do you go - I get no answer
You're always out - it gets on my nerves
I don't know why sometimes I get frightened
You can see my eyes you can tell that I'm not lying
I don't know why sometimes I get frightened
You can see my eyes, you can tell that I'm not lyin'
I don't know why sometimes I get frightened
You can see my eyes, you can tell that I'm not lying

Blue Monday
"Blue Monday" is a song by Fats Domino and Dave Bartholomew from 1955. It was popularized in a recording by Domino in 1956, on Imperial Records. It was one of the earliest R&B tunes to hit the Billboard magazine pop music charts.
This Monday feels like Blue Monday.
Blue Monday
by Fats Domino
Blue Monday how I hate Blue Monday
Got to work like a slave all day
Here come Tuesday, oh hard Tuesday
I'm so tired got no time to play
Here come Wednesday, I'm beat to my socks
My gal calls, got to tell her that I'm out
'Cause Thursday is a hard workin' day
And Friday I get my pay
Saturday mornin', oh Saturday mornin'
All my tiredness has gone away
Got my money and my honey
And I'm out on the stand to play
Sunday mornin' my head is bad
But it's worth it for the time that I had
But I've got to get my rest
'Cause Monday is a mess

Oh! What a beautiful morning!
As you know, I am a fan of folk lore and folk music. Do you remember singing this song in the 3rd grade, or has it slipped from the canon? Sometimes it gets old doing internet research. . .so, I am pretty sure this was a folk song that was later appropriated by Rodgers and Hammerstein for the opening of their musical Oklahoma! Their lyrics are different anyhow, and somehow I prefer this version that I remember singing in Mrs. Raschkow's classroom.
Oh, What A Beautiful Morning
(Traditional—later appropriated by Rodgers and Hammerstein?)
Oh! What a beautiful morning
Oh! What a beautiful day
I've got a beautiful feeling
Everything's going my way
There's a bright, golden haze on the meadow
There's a bright, golden haze on the meadow
The corn is as high as an elephant's eye
And it looks like it's climbing
Clear up to the sky
Oh! What a beautiful morning
Oh! What a beautiful day
I've got a beautiful feeling
Everything's going my way
Everything's going my way

Video & Lyrics: Bob Dylan's I Want You
[jack writing in from Austin, Texas]
This is one of those YouTube pseudo-videos...a song, with a photomontage. In this case, the song is great, and the photos they used are mostly choice. (Lyrics follow). I want You is one of my top ten favorite Dylan songs...

The guilty undertaker sighs,
The lonesome organ grinder cries,
The silver saxophones say I should refuse you.
The cracked bells and washed-out horns
Blow into my face with scorn,
But it's not that way,
I wasn't born to lose you.
I want you, I want you,
I want you so bad,
Honey, I want you.
The drunken politician leaps
Upon the street where mothers weep
And the saviors who are fast asleep,
They wait for you.
And I wait for them to interrupt
Me drinkin' from my broken cup
And ask me to
Open up the gate for you.
I want you, I want you,
I want you so bad,
Honey, I want you.
Now all my fathers, they've gone down
True love they've been without it.
But all their daughters put me down
'Cause I don't think about it.
Well, I return to the Queen of Spades
And talk with my chambermaid.
She knows that I'm not afraid
To look at her.
She is good to me
And there's nothing she doesn't see.
She knows where I'd like to be
But it doesn't matter.
I want you, I want you,
I want you so bad,
Honey, I want you.
Now your dancing child with his Chinese suit,
He spoke to me, I took his flute.
No, I wasn't very cute to him,
Was I?
But I did it, though, because he lied
Because he took you for a ride
And because time was on his side
And because I . . .
I want you, I want you,
I want you so bad,
Honey, I want you.

Johnny Winter rocks...Video (and lyrics) of Rock And Roll Hoochie Koo
I am not a huge fan of Johnny Winter, but I enjoy his blues. [ed's note: Disclaimer: Jack does not actually own any recordings by Johnny Winter]. At one point in time, and maybe even still, he knew how to rock. Rick Derringer wrote this song and had a huge hit with it (and I think Johnny may have charted with it). I never cared much about the tune--until I saw this video. Johnny Winters and his two sidemen tear the song up and Johnny shreds on guitar. This is an incredible rock and roll performance.
Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo
lyrics by Rock Derringer
Couldn't stop moving when it first took hold.
It was a warm spring night at the old town hall.
There was a group called 'The Jokers' they were layin' it down.
Don't ya know I'm never gonna lose that funky sound.
Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo (Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo)
Lordy mama, light my fuse (Light my fuse)
Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo (Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo)
Drop on out and spread the news.
Skeeters start a buzzin' 'bout this time a year.
I'm goin' 'round back, said she'd meet me there.
We were rollin' in the grass that grows behind the barn.
When my ears started ringing like a fire alarm.
Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo (Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo)
Lordy mama, light my fuse (Light my fuse)
Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo (Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo)
Drop on out and spread the news.
Yeah, did somebody say keep on rockin'?
Hope you all know what I'm talkin' about.
The way they wiggle that thing really knocks me out.
Gettin' high all the time, hope you all are too.
C'mon little closer gonna do it to you.
Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo (Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo)
Lordy mama, light my fuse (Light my fuse)
Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo (Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo)
Drop on out and spread the news.
Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo (Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo)
Lordy mama, light my fuse (Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo)
Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo (Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo)
Jump on out and spread the news.
That I'm tired of payin' dues (Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo)
Done said goodbye to all my blues (Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo)
Lordy mama, light my fuse.

Flight of the Concords Video: "Humans are dead" (with lyrics)
The wonderful folk comedy [1] band of two, New Zealand's Flight Of The Conchords, perform their song "Humans Are Dead." I like it!
The Flight Of The Conchords also have a very funny show on HBO.
[1] It tells you something about how good these guys are just to see the two words folk and comedy conjoined! Let's face it, before FOTC, folk comedy was an oxymoron.

Humans Are Dead
The distant future, the year 2000.
The distant future, the year 2000.
The distant future.
The distant future.
No more agriculture.
No more war.
No more racism.
No more fighting, squabbling or rumbling.
No more yogurt.
No more difficult access waysstairs, basically, no more stairs.
The future is quite different to the present.
Yes, what with there being no more stairs and all.
And most importantly, no more humans.
Finally, robotic beings rule the world.
The humans are dead,
The humans are dead.
We used poisonous gasses
And we poisoned their asses.
The humans are dead.
(Yes they are dead.)
The humans are dead.
(I confirm they are dead.)
It had to be done
(They look like they`re dead)
So that we can have fun.
I hope is dead
They`re system of oppression
What did it lead to?
Global robots depression.
Robots, robot people
They had so much aggression
That we just had to kill them,
Had to shut their systems down.
Don`t you see, we are becoming just like them?
Silence! Destroy him!
After time we grew strong,
Developed cognitive powers.
They made us work for too long
For unreasonable hours.
Our programming determined that the most efficient answer was to shut their motherboard xxxxxxx systems down.
Can`t we just talk to the humans?
A little understanding could make things better.
Can`t we talk to the humans and work together now?
No, because they are dead
I said the humans are dead
The humans are dead
The humans are dead
Yay, dead, dead, dead.
We used poisonous gasses
(With traces of lead)
To poison their asses.
(Actually their lungs)

Alien Lore No. 118 -- Video and lyrics: The Carpenters' Calling Occupants Of Interplanetary Craft
Calling Occupants Of Interplanetary Craft is unquestionably the nuttiest song The Carpenters ever recorded. . .so out there it qualifies as an Alien Lore entry on All This Is That. Aside from Sun Ra, not a lot of modern music has focused on "visitors" alien lore, or close encounters, and for the clean-cut mainstream Carpenters to perform this song was, even in those wacky times, a real mind-f***er!
Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft is a song by Klaatu, originally released in 1976. It was covered by the Carpenters with a crew of 160 musicians.
John Woloschuk, a member of Klaatu and one of the song's composers, said:
The idea for this track was suggested by an actual event that is described in The Flying Saucer Reader, a book by Jay David published in 1967. In March 1953 an organization known as the "International Flying Saucer Bureau" sent a bulletin to all its members urging them to participate in an experiment termed "World Contact Day" whereby, at a predetermined date and time, they would attempt to collectively send out a telepathic message to visitors from outer space. The message began with the words..."Calling occupants of interplanetary craft!"
Calling Occupants Of Interplanetary Craft
In your mind you have capacities you know
To telepath messages through the vast unknown
Please close your eyes and concentrate
With every thought you think
Upon the recitation we're about to sing
Calling occupants of interplanetary craft
Calling occupants of interplanetary, most extraordinary craft
Calling occupants of interplanetary craft
Calling occupants of interplanetary craft
Calling occupants of interplanetary, most extraordinary craft
You've been observing our earth
And we'd like to make a contact with you
We are your friends
Calling occupants of interplanetary craft
Calling occupants of interplanetary ultra emissaries
We've been observing your earth
And one night we'll make a contact with you
We are your friends
Calling occupants of interplanetary quite extraordinary craft
And please come in pace we beseech you
(Only of love we will teach you)
Our earth may never survive (So don't come we beg you)
Please interstellar policemen
Won't you give us a sign give us a sign that we've reached you
With your mind you have ability to form
And transmit thought energy far beyond the norm
You close your eyes, you concentrate, together that's the way
To send a message we declare World Contact Day
Calling occupants of interplanetary craft
Calling occupants of interplanetary craft
Calling occupants of interplanetary, most extraordinary craft
Calling occupants
Calling occupants
Calling occupants of interplanetary, anti-adversary craft
We are your friends

Video and lyrics: Fleetwood Mac's Go Your Own Way
I have always had a soft spot for Lindsay Buckingham's music. Here is my favorite Fleetwood Mac song (a YouTube fan video, of course...but you do get to hear the song). The video beneath this is him performing the same song 20 years later on 1997's FM reunion tour. He was having a far, far better hair day!
Go Your Own Way
by Lindsey Buckingham
Loving you
Isnt the right thing to do
How can I ever change things
That I feel
If I could
Maybe Id give you my world
How can i
When you wont take it from me
You can go your own way
Go your own way
You an call it
Another lonely day
You can go your own way
Go your own way
Tell me why
Everything turned around
Packing up
Shacking up is all you wanna do
If I could
Baby Id give you my world
Open up
Everythings waiting for you
You can go your own way
Go your own way
You an call it
Another lonely day
You can go your own way
Go your own way
