The Palin-Bachmann Juggernaut Picks Up Steam

People rarely agree (except Mona Goldwater) when I say that Ex-Governor Palin is a force to be reckoned with in 2012, either as a candidate, or as king-maker. Note: it's not like I WANT this to happen. Their logic is usually something like "The American people are no way that dumb," or "It can't happen here." But what happens when you put the two tea-party poster gals together into one rolling, perhaps unstoppable juggernaut? We have proved at least twice in the last decade that intelligence is not one of the job requirements for the Presidency. But then, again, perhaps there are limits to that theory and the voting public does have some sort of floor on the qualifications of POTUS?

recently in Minnesota. "I knew that we'd be buddies when I met her when she
said, 'Drill here, drill now,'" Palin said. "And then I replied, 'Drill baby drill,'
and then we both said, 'You betcha!'"

Now that we are less than a week away from the ascendancy of Next President Barack Obama, it's time we started lining up the 2012 contest. Who better to lead the Republicans and run against BHO in 2012 than Governor Sarah Palin? Maybe we can even recruit Sean Hannity, Rev. Rick Warren or David Duke as her running mate?

Artist Brude Elliott follows up naked Sarah Palin painting with nude Rod Blagojevich

Brude Elliott, the Chicago artist who had fifteen minutes of fame following his nude painting of Sarah Palin is about to finish a new painting featuring a naked Rod Blagojevich. Rod's portrait will hang next to the Palin painting (sorry folks...we have been unable to uncover an uncensored version of either painting).

In Palin's painting, the governor wears her alternate swept back 'do, and holds an automatic rifle while standing naked on a bear-skin rug."I don't see how she could be offended by this," Elliott said. "I made her into a sex figure." [ed's note: You might have had a little help, Brude! And truth be told, she's homelier in your painting than in real life. . .your painting of Rod, however, seems flattering. ]

Elliott's nude portrait of Blagojevich is nearly complete and will hang on the wall of Elliott's wife's bar, the Old Town Ale House, next to his nude Sarah Palin.

The Chicago artist who drew crowds, and notoriety to his wife's bar with his nude painting has begun referring to the paintings as a series, the "nude governor series."
