Video of Andy Warhol eating a Whopper®

Yes, it sounds strange. Andy eats a hamburger for four and a half minutes. Not so strange when you remember his 1963 movie, Sleep which shows his friend John Giorno sleeping for five hours and 20 minutes.

Video: a cuteness overload

By Jack Brummet

I admit.  I watched it until the end. 1) cuteness overload, and 2) I love the way the music panning. I assumed it was a synced mix, but maybe (probably?) not; it might all be done programmatically, music synced with the character/ instrument as they move in and out of camera range, swelling to full volume when the character is dead center.  Check it out here

An excellent instructional video: "Toward emotional maturity"

A wonderful instructional video in which a teenage girl reflects on episodes in which her love, fear, anger were not always under control. She decides not to go "park" with her boyfriend.

The Beehivetheory.com - Kees Vander Putten's dedicated site

I wrote about Kees Vander Putten's incredible video here yesterday. Kees now has the video up on his own site, that also includes biographical information and some explication of the symbols in the piece.

George W. Bush gets stung (literally) -- The Beehive Theory: a "must see" video by Kees Vander Putten

Kees Vander Putten has just finished a very funny animated video, The Beehive Theory. We're down to The Final Three Weeks. . .what a great time to roll out this summation of our folly in following the leader.

TBT is a satire on George W. Bush's defense and warped theories of the Iraq war. It's short, sweet, and spot-on, with a great soundtrack.

I've met Kees a few times (he's done some animation where I work). He did the entire video on his own (except for creating the soundtrack). Interestingly, Kees is completely self-taught! The video was done in Maya, with a mental ray renderer.

I hope we get more Vander Putten videos soon. Thank you Kees!

John West Red Salmon: The Fisherman vs. The Bear

I've had this video kicking around for ten years. I don't know who did it. It may have even been John West.

Video: Red State Update

One of the many Red State Updates available from http://www.redstateupdate.com/

Red State Update is Jackie Broyles and Dunlap broadcasting from a bunker underneath Jackie's Market in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. This is an especially choice example of their work...

"Y'all feel free to look at our latest videos, buy stuff with our face on it, hell, stay all night with us if you like-- we'll make y'all a pallet on the floor. "

Video: Getting Regular

The guys and gals on Madison Avenue had to have fun putting this one together. . .a bran cereal ad, about achieving regularity. It was filmed on a construction site, and has numerous images of images being dropped, and dumped.

Video: a sylvan car ride

I don't know who made the video (if it was you, contact me!), but I like it. A nice little sylvan ride in the boondocks. . .

The Party & an anonymous party's eternal mortification

Of all the readers of All This Is That [tm], only Jeff Clinton could have sent me this. . .and he did. No editorial comment is needed...

[you must click this to enlarge and read!]

What I like best about this email are 1) this is the first time he ever drank; 2) his fretting over the homosexual aspect of what happened. It was a dog, fella!); and 3) the episode was apparently videotaped by one of the cheering crowd.

Scott Quigley's Indecent Proposal Video

[Editor's note] I don't know anything about the provenance of this video, nor who the director Scott Quigley is, or if he committed this short to the public domain. Scott, if you're out there. . .let me know. I found the video on Atom films, with no info about the director.

Jack Brummet interviews Keelin Curran on marriage. . .

. . .and Keelin Curran appears to have had 1.5 glasses of wine—exactly half a glass past her limit. I am trying to test out the new Blogger video upload feature (and figure out how I can spoof it in order to upload audio files).

The Whitest Kids U Know

My son Del pointed this video out to me last night, hoping I wasn't quite as creepy a boss as the one on the vid. This is very funny stuff, and hey seem to have dozens more on You Tube...

Alien Lore No. 111: UFOFs over Haiti

Is it real, or from a Halo 3 commercial, or composed in VUE 6? This video was allegedly shot August 6, 2007. It seems to be controversial, but then isn't every video we've ever seen of a UFO or a grey? And really, as Ken Kesey once wrote "it's all true, whether it happened or not."
