[50 million new voters have registered since the 2008 election]

50 million new voters have registered since the 2008 election

In a study earlier this year, the Pew Research Center said this election will be the “most racially and ethnically diverse ever,” with 31 percent of the vote coming from minorities.

In 2008, just shy of 132 million people voted. No one is really sure how many of those other 68 million registrants will vote, but we know this will be the biggest turnout ever.

25 million votes have been cast.

The dice have left the cup, and, even now, are rolling across the table.
