Freddie's Dead! Ex-Sen. Thompson throws in the towel

Ex-Senator Fred Thompson pulled the plug on his moribund campaign today. Only last night, we guessed that, based on the absence of recent Jeri Kehn photographs on their website.



According to the Associated Press: "Thompson did not say whether he would endorse any of his former rivals. He was one of a handful of members of Congress who supported Arizona Sen. John McCain in 2000 in his unsuccessful race against George W. Bush for the party nomination."

Where is Jeri Kehn Thompson? A dearth of photos plagues the internet. . .

Ex-Senator Thompson's website has, in the last few weeks, neglected to post any photos of bright and scrumptious Ms. Jeri Kehn. Have they decided against sending her back out on the hustings? Has she virtually thrown in the towel (not likely since she was one of the campaign's main strategists)? Clearly, the moribund campaign is on its last legs.

Have they elected to keep her under wraps since any appearance she makes juxtaposes her winsome MILF-ness against Fred's lumpy and sagging visage? Or is it just to thwart the ongoing Jeri Kehn photo series on All This Is That? We may know more soon. Certainly, the ex-Senator seems likely to throw in the towel, at the latest, by February 5th. Unless he comes to his senses and names Ms. Kehn as his running mate...

There were few interesting Jeri Kehn photos from the campaign this week, so instead we put up a few of her miscellaneous photos we have kicking around. Who knows how much longer anyone will even be interested as the Thompson campaign sags. The incredible surge of Mike Huckabee has been mainly at the expense of Ex-Senator Fred Thompson. In the meantime, if Fred was smart--and anyone watching his campaign has to question that--he'd send Mrs. Jeri Kehn Thompson to even more campaign appearances.

We have no evidence that this swine was not an object of the Senator's attentions. Legend says that when Lyndon Johnson ran for Congress, he
wanted to spread rumors that his opponent was a pig-f***er. Johnson's campaign manager said, "Lyndon, you know he doesn't do that!" Johnson replied, "I know. I just want to make him deny it."

Presidential Candidate-Mayor Of 9/11 Giuliani In A Snit Over Jeri Kehn Photos Garnering Too Much Attention

Rudolph Giuliani is reportedly in a snit over the fact that Jeri Kehn Thompson's photos have been appearing all over the internet and blog world. Until those photos began appearing, Giuliani's photos in a gown had been far more prevalent. "OK," Giuliani said on the phone to an All This Is That stringer, "yeah, people in the south and the flyover states didn't like my pictures in drag, but let's face it, they weren't going to vote for me anyhow. " Giuliani then characterized Fred Thompson as a person who has relations with barnyard animals.

The ex-mayor continued: "I look at it like they say, all publicity is good publicity. But these Jeri Kehn photos, man, they're chiseling away at me. And in my favorite picture, I have a Vera Wang on!"

For whatever reasons, the two sets of photographs here—Meet the Thompson Twins: Fred Thompson's wife, Jeri Kehn (with photos) (June 26, 2007) and More Jeri Kehn photos--> A follow-up to "Meet the Thompson Twins: Fred Thompson's wife, Jeri Kehn (with photos) " (July 16, 2007)— featuring Jeri Kehn photos account for almost half the traffic to this blog. I mentioned previously that Jeri Kehn Thompson (or her handlers) have kept a pretty good cap on information about Ms. Kehn Thompson. . .so we're left with a handful of photographs, and not a lot of biographical information.

This photo of Jeri Kehn seems to be real, although compared to other photos, she seems less photogenic. On the other hand, the Senator has that same beaming smile we see when he is with her in other photographs


This photo is allegedly also Jeri Kehn, wearing—apparently—hand-tooled shitkickers. I really doubt this is her. But it appears on several web sites identified as her. In none of the other photos is her hair this short. In none of the other photos, is she dressed so informally. And her hair seems far more blonde than in other photos. Ed Note: a reader, confirms that this is indeed not Jeri Kehn: "Regulator"wrote: 3rd photo is of Lorrie Morgan, country singer.Get your act together before you post!" Hey, Reg...K.M.A.! Love, Jack

—Mark Levin, in the National Review makes a very good point about the uproar over Jeri Kehn. And he is basically correct (not something I usually think about the National Review):

"The Left likes to lecture us about sexism and gender discrimination. But when it comes to Republican women, they’re all for a glass ceiling. The truth is that if Jeri Thompson was the wife of a leading liberal Democrat candidate, or spent her life working for liberal causes, they would fall all over her with adulation. They’d fawn over her good looks, grace, and charm. They’d praise her for balancing family and public life. The age difference between Fred Thompson (64) and Jeri Thompson (40) would go unmentioned — as it has with Chris Dodd and his young wife. And in the case of JFK, his marriage to the younger Jackie was said to be a huge asset. It unquestionably was."
