Alien Lore No 150 -- The Big Radio

As late as the 1920s, many people (including Albert Einstein) still considered light signals as the most practical way to contact distant civilizations/The Greys (a/k/a aliens). Radio transmitters were not yet capable of focusing a beam on a distant planet. It took a 50,000 watt station, like KGO San Francisco, WOR NYC, or KIRO Seattle, to even broadcast up and down the coasts. And finally, scientists gradually became convinced that Mars did not have the conditions to support life. . . therefore, any Greys or ETs, would exist much, much further away.


It wasn't until 1959 that radio-based SETI [Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence] started to be taken seriously. Giuseppe Cocconi and Philip Morrison showed that radar transmitters of the time were powerful enough to send signals light years through space. "If we can do it, then the aliens might be doing it."

And we've been trying to speak to them ever since.

Alien Lore No. 148 - UFOs over San Diego

Thousands of San Diegans reported seeing UFOs--not one. . .a fleet. . .nine to be exact--just after midnight on January 1st, 2009.




The sighting was reported on numerous websites and blogs, and in the old media a/k/a TV-radio-newspapers. See below for a pretty decent YouTube video of the UFO formation. Our favorite comments from godlikeproductions.com website:

Alien Lore No. 146 - The 2006 Australian UFO Wave

This is a great compilation of the "2006 Australian UFO Wave" -- a massive UFO hoax created by Christopher Kenworthy. Make sure to watch the entire video--the giveaway comes in the very last two videoclips. Thanks to Jeff Clinton, once again, for feeding into our Alien Lore series.

Kenworthy writes: "All the clips from my UFO hoax project, which have been viewed by over 8 million people." While the hoax project was underway many UFO researchers and others wrote to say they were convinced. Kenworthy says about the project: "Between June and mid-August 2006 thirty-one clips of UFOs were created. The UFO videos were distributed over the Internet via websites and video podcasts."

"The project was hugely successful, being viewed by many millions of people. Very few people suspected that the clips were manufactured. Gradually, the level of plausibility was reduced, but only when the last two clips were uploaded did a large number of people get suspicious. "

Alien Lore No. 145 - A landing party rehearses over Saskatoon

A fascinating light show played itself out in the skies of western Canada on Thanksgiving Eve. The light show certainly came from outer space. Some scientists say the lights and fireballs came from a meteor, or meteors. The light show was visible from Alberta to Manitoba, but appeared centered over Saskatchewan. Sure, it may have been a meteor, but we guess most readers of All This Is That will recognize it for what it actually was: an alien landing party in rehearsal maneuvers.

Alien Lore No. 139 - Tomorrow the Greys reveal themselves

Thanks, as always to Jeff Clinton for finding this nugget on the internets.

The Psychic, Blossom Goodchild, says she has received a channeled transmission from the Galactic Federation of Light.

The Federation will reveal themselves tomorrow, October 14th, 2008, by revealing their 2000 mile wide vessel. The spaceship will remain visible for 3 earth days.




The good news, according to Blossom, is they come in peace and love. . .like our old pal Klaatu from The Day The Earth Stood Still. Check our Blossom's message in the YouTube video, above.

Alien Lore No. 131 - More details emerge on the Jeff Peckman alien video

Fox Mulder's UFO poster from "The X Files"

More details about the Jeff Peckman alien film have emerged in the last two days. We first reported on this story earlier this week in an Alien Lore post (N0. 130 in a series).

Jeff Peckman, will be showing the alien footage to the press this morning in Denver. He claims he has proof that we have cousins Out There. These details were reported on KRDO "News Channel 13" web site.

The video, shows a four-foot tall grey looking through a window. A film industry expert analyzed the video and believes it's the real deal: "Had it been fake, it would have been very, very, very expensive, it was not done in post production or in a special effects system, or a computer, it wasn't done that way, it was shot on a DV camera," says Jerry Hofmann.

Hofmann told NEWSCHANNEL 13 "The way the glass is through the window, it reflects the wall behind the camera and when the alien pops his head through it, the reflection is over his face."

"The aliens face, moves... it blinks and he moves his cheeks." Hofmann goes on to say the alien was very animated. "In order for this to be a fake, it has to be a very elaborate puppet."

Hofmann, who has worked in Hollywood (not exactly a verifiable credential), tells NEWSCHANNEL 13 "I was a total non-believer, I didn't get involved because I believed it or wanted to be involved with this thing. I became involved because they needed a third party to look at this stuff."

The video was filmed by a Stan Romanek, who claims to have been abducted by aliens. His website has several pictures of what appears to be U.F.O's and a drawing of aliens he claims visited him one night.

I guess we will have a better idea about this tomorrow, after Peckman unveils his video in Denver...

Dark Skies/Alien Lore motherlode

Right up there with The Sopranos, Hill Street Blues, Deadwood, and a handful of other shoes...is Dark Skies. In 1996-97, Dark Skies, one of my all-time favorite television shows, aired. The show detailed the Greylien "history" that has accumulated (like tartar) over the years. Unlike other shows, Dark Skies established an elaborate mythology and framework for the grey lore, built through research of the voluminous outpouring of writing and reporting on alien-related topics.

Bryce Zabel developed a five year plan for the show, ranging from the early 60's to the millennium, all grounded in historical events. Each episode details the impact of The Hive on historical events. Harry Truman, The Beatles, Ed Sullivan, Jack Ruby, William Paley, Hubert Humphrey, JFK, Bobby Kennedy (in a recurring role), Timothy Leary, Jim Morrison, Jerry Rubin, Carl Sagan, and others all appear on the program. The "lookalike" actors are outrageously over the top and campy...which adds a note of bent humor to the proceedings. The Greys, it seems, are merely hosts for the real aliens, called the Hive. The Hive is far more dangerous and insidious than the Greys. The Greys, in fact, are a race not particularly warlike until they are taken over by The Hive.





The Hive in the form of The Greys has stealthily infested America, and the world. The awful truth is kept from the American people by Captain Frank Bach, the leader of a super-secret government organization called Majestic-12. John Loengard and Kim Sayers are on the run from the alien Hive and from the Government. Their travels lead them all around the country as they learn more about the massive infestation of The Hive, and Majestic's efforts to control it at any cost.


It's never clear in the show whether the cure is worse than the illness. Dark Skies seamlessly put together science fiction, UFOlogy, and past political events and social movements that took place during the 50's and late 60's. Unlike the X Files, Dark Skies was a one trick pony--it was about aliens, and UFOs, and nothing else. They cancelled the show just as it was getting traction. You can get a bootleg copy of the series. I did just that, and I enjoyed the show even more the second time around. By the way, Sony--it's time to release the DVDs!

Alien Lore No. 124 - Three airline crews report seeing UFOs as big as a battleship in 1976

In 1976, three pilot crews from three different airlines saw UFOs "as big as a battle ship."

On May 14, 1977, the “Natal Daily News” from South Africa, published an article about this UFO incident titled “UFOs as big as battleships, pilots claim":

"For fear of being ridiculed, pilots of three airliners kept secret the sighting of three UFOs over Portugal, later described by one of them “as big and solid as battleships”.

"British Airways Trident jet pilot, captain Dennis Wood, who has been flying with the airline for 20 years, said he and his crew first spotted the UFOs while flying from London to Faro.

"The sighting, described by experts as the most important in the past decade, was also made by the crew of a British Tristar below the Trident and the pilot of a Portuguese airliner. All the stories tallied.

"Captain Wood, 42, said he and the Tri-star crew made sighting reports when they arrived at London’s Heathrow airport but kept it all a secret for fear of being ridiculed. Captain Wood has come forward in the hope that Britain’s ufo experts will turn a serious eye to this particular sighting."

“Suggestions that the three objects were balloons, stars or satellites, strange clouds or reflections are quite unacceptable to us”, he said. “As I looked to the west we saw this very bright headlamp in the sky. All the cabin staff saw it too and I told the passengers. Then it was joined by two cigar-shaped objects as big and solid as battleships”.



"On the return trip, captain Wood tilted his radar scanner. “There, in exactly the same spot, were these two cigar-shaped things. We got to within seven miles of them when they disappeared from our screen”.

Alien Lore No. 119: The Holloman AFB meeting between President Ike Eisenhower and The Greys

Thanks to Jeff Clinton for pointing this one out. Holloman, of course, has always loomed large in the alien lore world. This is the first time I ever heard about Ike's involvement (the story reminds me of the episode in Dark Skies were President Truman meets with The Greys and then orders the army to shoot down with departing "UFO").

According to Clark C. McClelland, once with the U.S. Space Shuttle Fleet, a UFO landed in front of former U.S. President Eisenhower and other officials at Holloman Aair Force Base. Holloman looms nearly as large as Roswell or Area 51 in Alien Lore.

The old Alamogordo airfield (aka Holloman) had been a training base for heavy bombers. But one day, to the surprise of almost everyone, President Dwight D. Eisenhower landed there.

There was no band or parade--only a few birds calling in the distance. Everyone wondered "why is Ike here? What's going on?" The civilians and military were told that while the president was here, this would be a "business as usual" day.

Whatever was happening would happen was as far away as it could be from the base. Little could be seen unless one had a vantage point and binoculars. Soon, the radar officers gave instructions to shut off all radar. He had turned base operations over to his deputy base commander as long as the President was here. He felt it his duty to be with him with no distractions.

A phone rang in the tower with a report of two UFOs passing over Range Road 12. A minute later, the bogies were over Range Road 7, just a few minutes from the runway. Men in the tower swung their glasses to the north in the morning haze.

Something glinted in the sun, and then something else just below it. Now, a report came in of a third bogie five minutes behind the first two. The tower personnel who did not know what these were, were stunned. The objects had no tails, no wings, and no motors. They were just round objects heading toward the president's plane. They reported the objects, logged them and did their job which was "business as usual." The two objects stopped 300 feet over Air Force One, and then one touched about 200 feet ahead of the plane.

The other UFO hovered above the buildings over the tarmac. The disc had a good vantage point of anything that might come towards the president's plane and the UFO on the ground. Most people who saw or heard about the two craft at the base that day did not believe they were ET, but possibly new Russian or German innovations.

After the UFO landed in front of Air Force One, a man (whom people assumed was the President), came to the doorway of the plane, and approached the saucer on the ground. The man walked up the ramp, stood at the opening, shook hands with someone, and went inside.

Observers thought the President was inside the UFO about 45 minutes. When he emerged from the craft, he walked towards Air Force One. Most observers believed it was President Ike. Many of the witnesses recognized that famous bald pate and his stiff military walk.
