Alien Lore No. 250 - Photographic evidence of UFOs preceding the 1947 Roswell and Mount Rainier UFO sightings

By Jack Brummet, Alien Lore Ed.

The most interesting information about these photos is that they were all photographed many years before The Roswell Incident, or the Mt. Rainier UFO sightings of 1947—both of which catapulted UFOs into the popular imagination.

This photo was taken in 1870 at Mt. Washington, New Hampshire. The photo has been called "the oldest UFO photograph ever taken." This image was the subject of spirited bidding on E-bay in 2002 and was purchased by Samuel M. Sherman, the President of Independent-International Pictures Corp.

This image was shot in 1927 at Cave Junction, Oregon. The picture was reportedly snapped by a volunteer fireman. Click on to see full size image to really appreciate the picture.

In 1929 at SlideWard, Colorado, a photographer captured this alleged UFO photograph. According to Hetty Pline, the photographer's daughter "This photo was taken by my father Edward Pline at the sawmill in Ward where we lived at the time, I think it was 1929. I was about six years old then. My father was there to photograph the sawmill for some reason or another, and as he was taking the photo, he described a "terrible thunderous bellow," and a large round thing as big as a very large boulder that moved through the air above them. You can see it in the picture. None of the sawmill workers saw the thing in the photo, but they all heard the sound and felt the ground shudder. Later in my life I tried researching the incident at the County Historical Society, but I did not find any references to it. My father passed on a few years after the incident, and I have not found any surving sawmill workers from that time. "

In this image, the alarm klaxons installed in the event of a Japanese air raid began blaring, and flying objects are seen and announced in the sky off the city. I have written about this incident before. A blackout was declared and terrified Los Angelenos turned off all the lights.

The anti-aircraft guns opened fire on the UFOs, and as you see in the photo, the projector beams began searching the sky. Many witnesses saw small objects flying at high altitude, of red or silver plated color. The saucers moved in formation at a high rate of speed, and the anti-aircraft artillery were useless. FDR got involved in this one. See the story in All This Is That...

In May 1932, at St. Paris, Ohio,
someone took this picture of George Sutton. It was probably 1932 judging by the license plate on the car. George looks pretty calm for having a UFO hovering over his head. Nobody has been able to account for the dark object seen over Sutton's left shoulder in this photograph.

Alien Lore No. 237 - Purported KGB footage of a UFO crash site in Russia

By Jack Brummet, Alien Lore Editor

Thanks to reader Jeff Clinton for passing this along.  It's hard to tell if this is staged or not (well, maybe not).  The whole operation seems just a little too rag-tag to have been faked.  Would a large team like this really begin handling pieces of the crash and UFO without containment suits, and extreme precautions against viruses and radiation?  Would there be no containment trucks or heavy equipment?  Just look at footage of investigators at any jet crash site, and you'll have the answer.  In this film clip, at least, the actions of the group seem completely random and ad hoc.  There is no serious attempt to systematically collect evidence and data.  And, even if this footage were taken in the early 1950's, you would have seen evidence of photography, filming, and tape recording, aside from whoever shot this clip.

Finally, looking at the UFO, if you presume it failed while extremely close to the ground, the wreckage might look like this.  Looking at the trees, it feels like there might have been more trauma to the trees...you can see standing trees nearly touching the spaceship.

Alien Lore No. 235 - "65 percent of Americans say Obama better suited to handle alien invasion than Romney"

By Jack Brummet
Alien Lore Editor

[thanks to Jeff Clinton for the news tip...]

65 percent of Americans say that President Obama is better suited to handle an alien invasion than ExGovernor Mitt Romney.  You can read the story here, on Yahoo.  We have written numerous articles on Presidents and UFOs over the years...a selection of those articles appear below.

Alien Lore No. 220 - The Ariel School UFO/Grey sighting in Ruwa, Zimbabwe

By Jack Brummet, Unexplained Phenomena and Alien Lore Editor

[Thanks to Jeff Clinton for the "news tip.]

On September 14th, 1994, a UFO blew across the skies of Southern Africa.  Days later, something fell, or landed, in a Ruwa, Zimbabwe schoolyard, as well as a few smaller objects, according to journalist (and book author, and UFOlogist) Cynthia Hind, and Harvard psychiatry professor John Mack.  This episode would later become a chapter in her book UFOs Over Africa (Horus House, 1996).

One eyewitness, Barry D., said he saw three objects fly over, with flashing red lights. The UFOs disappeared, but then reappeared almost immediately, in another location.  This happened about three times. He said the objects then came and landed near some gum trees not far from the school.

Four of the eye witnesses Cynthia Hind interviewed

The most interesting part of this story is that UFOs were witnessed by 62 school children, none or few of who had ever seen or heard stories about aliens or UFOs.  Cynthia Hind interviewed them the day after the encounter and got them to draw them draw pictures of what they had seen.  A prominent Harvard researcher and professor of Psychiatry, John Mack, also traveled to Ruwa and conducted extensive interviews.

Many researchers call the Ariel School story the ultimate "nondebunkable" piece of alien lore.  It is a tantalizing UFO/Grey sighting to UFOlogists because of the large number of people who witnessed it, and because UFO researchers like Hind were quickly on the scene to report on it, take interviews, and collect sketches and eyewitness accounts.  Hind was able to interview around a dozen of the older children and was able to get them to create sketches of what they had seen.

Many serious and experienced researchers call this case one of the most believable of all documented close encounters.  Almost everyone calls it one of their "favorites."  One poster on Paracast wrote: "A recent poster asked for our favorite (?) UFO case. I opted for Ruwa and its school children. This merely reinforces that choice. I thought I'd seen every clip of the children being interviewed until I watched this. I want someone at CNN to run those clips and come on afterword, with eerie music and take pokes at those kids' credibility or sanity. The public would fire-bomb their Atlanta offices."

"These children are (were), at least in my opinion, the most credible UFO/Alien witness' I've ever seen interviewed. The shock, trauma, terror and confusion manifested in their words and their eyes would be near impossible for anyone to fake so convincingly- let alone young, rural children. We are not talking about 'lights in the sky' here. These children say that they had close contact with these things and that there was some sort of communication. . .that they can't even comprehend."

some of the sketches created by the Ariel schoolchildren

The editor of Paracast agreed, saying "These are some of the most believable Close Encounter testimonies on record, and it's a real shame that the case hasn't received more attention here in the West.Let's hope that this all changes once the new documentary premieres. It'll be fascinating to see how these children (now young adults) have managed to assimilate this experience into their lives, and what they think of it now - 15 years later."

The now deceased Cynthia Hind had deep experience in investigative reporting and was well-respected in the UFO community.

A photograph of the Ariel School grounds

At the end of this story, I have included some video footage from YouTube showing some of the interviews and background on the story.
Here is the initial report by Cynthia Hind in the UFO AFRINEWS, 1994:

"On Friday 16th September, at approximately 10:15, 62 children from Ariel School, a private primary school in Ruwa (about 20 km from Harare) were in their playing field for the mid-morning break. Suddenly, they saw three silver balls in the sky over the school. These disappeared with a flash of light and then reappeared elsewhere. This happened three times and then they started to move down towards the school with one of them landing (or hovering) over a section of rough ground made up of trees, thorn bushes, and some brown-grey cut grass with bamboo shoots sticking up out of the ground. The children are not allowed in this area although it is adjacent to their playing field and is not fenced off, because of snakes, spiders and perhaps other harmful creatures. One can soon disappear from view while walking here, and there is only one very rough track used by tractors in an attempt to clear this area.

"There is a line of electricity pylons and according to one boy, the object followed along this line prior to landing.

"There is also some controversy as to whether the object _landed_ on the ground or hovered above it. On Tuesday, 20th September, I went out to the school with a BBC reporter and their television equipment, as well as my son and Gunter Hofer, a young man who builds his own electrical equipment, viz, a Geiger counter, a metal detector and a magnetometer, to try and see if the object left any traces behind.

"The headmaster of the school is Mr. Colin Mackie, who was most co-operative, and although he had never been involved with UFOs or a believer in them, said that he believed the children had seen what they said they saw.

"I was able to interview about 10 or 12 older children and this was recorded for BBC television.

"One eyewitness, Barry D., said he had seen three objects flying over, with flashing red lights. They disappeared, and reappeared almost immediately, but somewhere else. This happened about three times. Then they came and landed near some gum trees; Barry said the main one (object) was about the size of his thumb nail held at arm's length. The reports were similar although some children were more observant than others. The consensus of opinion was that an object came down in the area where they indicated, about 100 metres from where they were at the edge of the school playing field. Then a small man (approx 1 metre in height) appeared on top of the object. He walked a little way across the rough ground, became aware of the children and disappeared. He, or someone very like him, then reappeared at the back of the object. The object took off very rapidly and disappeared."

"The little man was dressed in a tight-fitting black suit which was 'shiny' according to one observant girl (11 years of age). He had a long scrawny neck and huge eyes like rugby balls. He had a pale face with long black hair coming below his shoulders.

"I had suggested to Mr. Mackie prior to visiting the school and before the children had been interviewed, that he let the children draw what they had seen and he now has about 30-40 drawings, some of which are very explicit and clear, although some are rather vague. The children's' ages vary from 5/6 to 12 years. I have 22 photocopies of the clearer drawings as Mr. Mackie kindly allowed me to page through the pictures and choose those I wanted. Most of the descriptions are similar but some of the craft are very obviously 'flying saucers', and I wonder how many of these children have had access to the media. Others are crude but more or less in this saucer shape.

"The children vary in cultures: there are black, white, coloured and Asian children. One little girl said to me, 'I swear by every hair on my head and the whole Bible that I am telling the truth.' I could see the pleasure on her face when I told her that I believed her. The smaller children from 5-7 years were very frightened at the time and ran shouting 'Help me, help me.' When the older children asked why they were saying this, the reply was, 'He is coming to eat us.' I should think this applied more to the black African children who have legends of tokoloshies eating children.

"Their teachers were in a meeting and did not come out. When I queried the headmaster about this he said the children always shouted and yelled during their playtime and no-one thought there was anything unusual going on. The only other adult available at the time was one of the mothers who was running the tuckshop. When the children came to call her, she did not believe them and would not come out: she was not prepared to leave the tuckshop with all the food and money.

"Gunter and the men thoroughly examined the ground around where the children had seen the object, but could get no reaction on the Geiger counter or any other equipment. If the object was hovering perhaps nothing would show. I walked, on my own, along the electricity pylons for quite a away, caught up in thorn bushes, trampling blithely over snake holes and discarding all caution. I found no place where some object could have landed and pressed down the foliage. In fact, I should think the bamboo stumps would have been a deterrent. The day was hot, around 33 C (91F)...

"Dr John Mack was visiting Zimbabwe at the time of the event, and he spent two days at Ariel School with the children. He also spoke to the Headmaster, Colin Mackie, the teachers and some of the parents. John and his fellow researcher, Dominique Callimanopulos, were able to get through to the parents and teachers and convince them that even if they did not believe the children, it was counter-productive to accuse them of lying. Listen and think about what they were saying, he advised. His particular interest in child psychiatry was also of great use during the questioning and many former hidden memories came to light, something John is sure to make public when he has had a chance to reassess his interviewing."

Alien Lore No. 197 - An interactive map of 15 years of UFO sightings.

By Jack Brummet, Paranormal & Unexplained Phenomena Editor

A few months ago, Slate published an interactive map detailing fifteen years of UFO sightings as collected by the National UFO Reporting Center.  NUFORC was located in Seattle, but has now moved to a former Intercontinental Ballistic Missile base in eastern Washington. The article includes some fascinating data and maps.  NUFORC has, over the years, collected accounts of of over 30,000 close and not so close encounters with, well, something. Read the article from Slate here.

Alien Lore No. 158 - The Apollo 12 UFO sightings

Apollo 12, with Charles Conrad, Dick Gordon, Allan Bean was airborne-- less than a minute after blast-off, when it was hit by a bolt of lightning . All electrical equipment shut down, but within three minutes , power was restored. The source of the bolt remained a mystery to space experts. No one could ever really explain where the lightning came from, if it was lightning.

As Apollo 12 rocketed at the Moon, observatories throughout Europe began reporting sightings of two bright flashing unknown objects in the craft's vicinity. One UFO semed to be following the spacecraft, and the other seemed to be traveling in front of it. Both objects were blinking on and off rapidly. On November 15th, the three Apollo 12 astronauts told Mission Control/Houston that they had in fact sighted two "bogeys."

The rest of the story? Crickets, so far.

Alien Lore No. 154 - Life on the moon?

A couple of years ago, President George W. Bush gave a speech promising a return to the moon. We've shuttled back and forth to the International Space Station numerous times, but no one has returned to the moon since 1972.

One of the most visible and exciting facets of the space race was our ("our" here means earthlings) visits to the moon. As you know, there is a contingent of conspiracy theorists who claim we never actually landed there, and that the 18 manned and unmanned spacecraft landings on the moon were bogus--all filmed on a soundstage. Particularly, that first landing of Apollo 11 in 1969.

12 U.S. citizens have walked on the moon. That's it, as far as we know. (If you don't believe the story of The Skeleton On the Moon: See All This Is That, March 28, 2005).

Only a rocket (but not a balloon or jet) can actually increase its speed at high altitudes in the vacuum outside the Earth's atmosphere. Or at least that's what they say. But some people believe you don't need a rocket at all.

In the Southern Literary Messenger of June 1835, Edgar Allan Poe published the tale of Hans Pfaall, an unemployed bellows mender from Rotterdam, Holland, who worked clandestinely, and built a giant balloon. His goal was "to force a passage, if I could, to the moon." He gambled he could acclimatize to the extreme altitude [as have many mountain climbers over the years, although the highest they have reached is just over 29,000 feet].

Hans Pfaall took off on April 1, 1935 and, because of the thinning atmosphere, soon suffered spasms and began bleeding from the ears, nose, and eyes. He made it 'though: after 19 days in space, his balloon, the Flying Dutchman landed amidst a crowd of homely looking moon people, who "stood like a parcel of idiots, grinning in a ludicrous manner, and eyeing me and my balloon askant, with their arms set akimbo."

Despite the strange welcome, the world's first astronaut lived among the moon folk for five years. He then then wrote a letter to the Mayor of Rotterdam in which he described some of his experiences and begged to be allowed to return to earth, and Rotterdam.

A lunar messenger Pfaall entrusted with his letter reached Rotterdam (also by balloon) but "frightened to death by the savage appearance of the residents of Rotterdam," he couldn't be persuaded to land. He dropped the letter, and disappeared into the heavens without waiting for a reply, according to Poe.

The story snowballs from here. Imagine if you can, a telescope lens with a diameter of 24 feet and a weight of almost 15,000 pounds. With it, you could see insects on the moon, or so the readers of the New York Sun were told.

In August 1835, the 'paper reported the findings of British astronomer Sir John Herschel. In a six-part series, a reporter--Richard Adams Locke--told how Herschel used his custom-built telescope in a planetarium at the Cape of Good Hope (in Southern Africa), to spot many incredible species on the moon. Among them: horned bears, tailless beavers, and 4-foot-tall ape-like creatures with thick beards and large wings. Locke referred to them as "bat-men." There were bat-women too, and the bat-men and bat-women apparently engaged freely in randy behavior that Locke refused to describe, because their acts would be considered improper on earth.

Herschel was a legitimate, respected scientist who remained unaware of his "discoveries" for months. When word of Locke's confabulations reached him, he tried to debunk the story--but no one wanted to hear that!

On June 20, 1977, Anglia TV in England caused an uproar when it broadcast a documentary called Alternative Three. By linking facts with half-truths, and by staging interviews with so-called "astronomers" and "astronauts," the makers suggested that both NASA's space program and the Cold War were decoys. The power elite in the USSR, the US, and Great Britain had in fact been working together on a secret project - Alternative Three - that had established bases on the moon and on Mars, so that they could escape the coming ecological nightmare on earth. Insiders who were deemed a security risk were callously murdered. Scientists had been abducted to do experiments in the space colonies. Even regular folks had been forced into slave labor on the moon and Mars.

Alien Lore No. 129 - A report by a visiting Nordic Grey

Observations by a Visiting Nordic (from the Krill Papers

In October, 1987, UFO researcher George Andrews was successfully able to contact one of the Nordics not associated with the Greys, through a woman in California. What follows are the comments made by the alien:

"Were you a culture about to invade, you would not do it with a flourish of ships showing up in the heavens and undergo risk of being fired upon. That's the type of warfare slightly less evolved beings get into. You would create intense confusion and disagreement with only inferences to your presence -- inferences which would [in turn] cause controversial disagreement.

The Greys are insidious little fiends. They did exactly [to us] what they're doing here [to you]. You are not on the verge of an invasion. You are not in the middle of an invasion. The invasion has already taken place. It's merely in its final stages.

"What would you invade? [Here he describes the operational plan of the Greys from the beginning.] You would go to the most secret of communities within a society. In the case of the United States, you would go and infiltrate the CIA. You would take over some of them and you would take over part of the KGB.

"You would create great dissension and disagreement between factions of the public at large -- some groups saying they have seen UFOs, others saying 'No, no, this is not possible.' You would involve two major countries in an on-going idiotic philosophical disagreement so that while the Soviet Union and the United States constantly battle back and forth about who has which piece of territory or whether one invades Iran or whether one invades Afghanistan or whatever... whether one dismantles one nuclear warhead or the other dismantles another group of warheads -- you would sit back and laugh if you had the capacity to laugh.

"You would present yourself indeed to some in a group who would protect you [CIA or MJ-12] thinking they had a secret more secret and more perfect knowledge of something than anyone else on this planet had, and they would covet you and you would trust their own greed and you would trust their own mass stupidity to trap them. And you'd do it on both sides

"You'd show yourself to some of the mass populace to further involve [factions of] the government in an attempt to shut them up, to keep them even more busy quieting them and trying to 'stop more information about UFOs from getting out.' You'd have the mass populace to a state where they distrusted the government. 'Oh, why don't they believe us? Why can't they understand that these things are really happening? We're not crazy!'

"So you would have battles constantly about whether UFOs exist or they don't exist. You would have the public and the government at each other's throats. You would set two major superpowers at each other's throats. And you would have set up groups like 'haves' -- the wealthy but contented -- and the 'have- nots.' You would plant the seeds of massive discontent.
"Eventually you might have some show of ships landing in the 1990s. One or two. By the time they have landed, be assured they will be in complete control. You will start doing crossbreeds and more crossbreeds, generation after generation.

"You bribe the government with a few tidbits -- a Star Wars system. You tease and tempt the Soviet Union with a laser system far finer than any of their own scientists could think of. And you always have that subtle inference -- just on the borderline of consciousness so that UFOs don't seem to believable, yet you keep it couched in secrecy and make it seem quite so insane that no one would believe them. On top of it, you would unleash forces that would want to kill them [UFO contactees] if they disclosed that the CIA is dealing with the exact same things the [contact victim] is.

"Maybe one or two hundred years from now, some of the Greys will even physically mingle and you may have some creatures walking around who are pretty much hybrids between Greys and your own race. For now, anything that walks around will look much like yourselves. It's simpler. It holds down on mass panic.

"Everyone who has experiences with them [Greys] will be at odds with the government. To add to that, we will go into a complete phased of earthquake after earthquake and upheaval after upheaval.

"The inner core of the CIA is deeply controlled by the Greys. The CIA sees interaction with the Greys as a path to greater scientific achievement.

"One reason you are seeing so many different kinds of UFOs is that other cultures are watching with extreme interest. Scientists from other cultures arrive to watch. The Greys have not only taken over the intelligence agencies, they have also taken over what those agencies call 'lunatic fringe groups.' "

Dark Skies/Alien Lore motherlode

Right up there with The Sopranos, Hill Street Blues, Deadwood, and a handful of other shoes...is Dark Skies. In 1996-97, Dark Skies, one of my all-time favorite television shows, aired. The show detailed the Greylien "history" that has accumulated (like tartar) over the years. Unlike other shows, Dark Skies established an elaborate mythology and framework for the grey lore, built through research of the voluminous outpouring of writing and reporting on alien-related topics.

Bryce Zabel developed a five year plan for the show, ranging from the early 60's to the millennium, all grounded in historical events. Each episode details the impact of The Hive on historical events. Harry Truman, The Beatles, Ed Sullivan, Jack Ruby, William Paley, Hubert Humphrey, JFK, Bobby Kennedy (in a recurring role), Timothy Leary, Jim Morrison, Jerry Rubin, Carl Sagan, and others all appear on the program. The "lookalike" actors are outrageously over the top and campy...which adds a note of bent humor to the proceedings. The Greys, it seems, are merely hosts for the real aliens, called the Hive. The Hive is far more dangerous and insidious than the Greys. The Greys, in fact, are a race not particularly warlike until they are taken over by The Hive.

The Hive in the form of The Greys has stealthily infested America, and the world. The awful truth is kept from the American people by Captain Frank Bach, the leader of a super-secret government organization called Majestic-12. John Loengard and Kim Sayers are on the run from the alien Hive and from the Government. Their travels lead them all around the country as they learn more about the massive infestation of The Hive, and Majestic's efforts to control it at any cost.

It's never clear in the show whether the cure is worse than the illness. Dark Skies seamlessly put together science fiction, UFOlogy, and past political events and social movements that took place during the 50's and late 60's. Unlike the X Files, Dark Skies was a one trick pony--it was about aliens, and UFOs, and nothing else. They cancelled the show just as it was getting traction. You can get a bootleg copy of the series. I did just that, and I enjoyed the show even more the second time around. By the way, Sony--it's time to release the DVDs!

Just the titles of their one season tell you much.

Alien Lore No.121: The Telepathic Aliens In Kent (England)

This is a fascinating story from Bufora (the British version of MUFON, the national UFO network located here in Seattle). Here are some of the most interesting "facts." To read the entire, baffling story, go here.
Judy Jaafar's findings in the Bromley, Kent, 24th August 2003 alien sighting and her interview and investigation:

  • Judy Jaafar investigated the case initially in 2003, but even this year, BUFORA was contacted BUFORA by email, trying to tell her stories to other, perhaps more receptive ears.

  • Two investigators were dispatched to research "what turned out to be some of the strangest testimony we have ever heard." One them ran a tape recorder, and the other took notes.

  • Sarah is clearly and undoubtedly the dominant of the two personalities, but she defers to John the channeler of spirits, and latterly aliens, but deferring in a way that assures his compliance.

  • Both Sarah and John say they have no knowledge of alien lore and have never read a book or magazine on the subject, nor seen any films.

  • Linda can be a grey or take human form, and in both forms he can be visible or invisible. John is channele and a psychic, who is more "open" to greys since meeting Sarah. Sarah first saw greys in 1986 lying in her beach hut in Negril, Jamaica, sick wither a collapsed lung and fever. The greys arrived to help. According to Sara, the "Greys are supremely intelligent and give information to humans in all disciplines - science, medicine, arts etc. They are here to help, and in fact are the "godparents" to many planetary civilisations.

  • "The greys NEVER abduct people, or do experiments on them. "They have no need to as they know humanity inside out. Human spirits can, however, meet them on the astral plane and this might be mistaken for abduction."

  • The greys sustain themselves by ingesting a homeopathically refined liquid made from pure water and certain herbs. They drink this through their mouths and it is deposited in a reservoir which we would call a stomach. They have no other end to the digestive tract, no bowels, therefore excretion is impossible. They extract the "energy" from this liquid and use it up totally.

  • They use "energy" also to procreate. There is no sexual union as such (so
    presumably no sexual organs).

  • Any 3-4ft tall greys seen by othe people must be juveniles, as they are
    around 7ft tall when mature.

  • Greys can choose to be reincarnated as humans, whereupon they take very
cerebral jobs because they are so clever.

  • They live for 200-300 years, and just stop energising in order to die. This is to make way for the younger generation.

  • The greys come from the planet Sirius D, and Sirius A is their sun. There was no mention of Sirius B or C. One third of the planet surface is covered by fresh water, but no salty seas. The flora is green and lush, and the climate mild. No mention of fauna, or other humanoid species. There is no pollution and the inhabitants live in simple but sophisticated buildings, generally sort of "round".

  • On the home planet, the greys use "energised" vehicles which Sarah calls "flying caravans". She showed us a sketch she'd drawn of one of these, and it did look for all the world like a flying box with windows and door.

  • There are schools and recreational facilities. They're not much into sport but do enjoy swimming and boating. Mostly they prefer mental games like chess in order to relax. The family is everything, and the grays as a race are very gregarious and sociable, as evidenced by their partiality to communal jacuzzis. [Ed note: this is a little scary, knowing my love of hot tubs, and hot springs.]

  • They have a senate of fifty individuals, just as a guide, since no-one ever does anything wrong, and the senate retires every so often to allow the younger individuals some experience.

  • There is no illness or poverty or hardship.

  • John perceives that there are other alien races out there, but the greys have never told him this. To "tune in" he just relaxes.

  • The greys will not give any information about future developments because we need to find our own answers, but they can nudge us in the right direction from time to time.

  • The greys do not have a concept of God. They are completely self-sufficient and at one with the universe, so have no need of such ideas.

  • Telepathy, which is their preferred mode of contact, will become common amongst humans after our next developmental leap.

  • Darwin's theory of evolution is wrong. [ed note: !!!]

  • For distances of more than 300 million miles, the greys use an interstellar rocket. Sarah had a sketch of one, and it was blunt nosed, truncated and had three tail fins. It reminded me of Thunderbirds. It takes three months to get here from the home planet. They can, of course, just teleport if they wish, but as they're very "communal" they like to travel together in a physical way.

  • On shorter trips they use a conventional flying saucer, and Sarah showed us her sketch of this also. When in our atmosphere, the greys travel in a miniature version of the above saucer.

  • They never allow their craft to be seen, as they have very efficient cloaking technology. UFO sightings cannot be attributed to the greys, definitely.

  • There have never been any crashed saucers from their civilisation - they're far too smart for that.

  • They have no bases here on earth.

  • The long, hot summer was caused by the energy from their massed craft in our atmosphere.

  • To Dan Bright's (ufologyinuk) question about residual alien artifacts: the pyramids of Giza and meso-America are their legacy.

  • To Joe's (ufologyinuk) question about the Mars probes: no information on that, but will ask. They do know, however, that Mars once supported an intelligent civilisation.

  • To several questions about the mysterious "energy" the greys seem to use for everything, including their propulsion systems on their anachronistic rockets: "don't know".

  • There are male and female genders amongst the greys, but it's hard to tell the difference.

  • Anyone can in theory be able to see the greys, but only if you are imbued with truth, sincerity, love and lack of fear and ignorance.

  • All especially talented people (several historical luminaries were mentioned) are influenced by the greys, or are actually greys themselves in human disguise.

Alien Lore No. 113: Why do cars in the vicinity of UFOs die?

Why do witness's vehicles inevitably die when they see an alien space craft?

Ufologists seem to agree (that doesn't happen often!) that these engine failures are the result of electromagnetic fields emitted by the spacecraft. Thomas M. Sipose, the L.A. Bureau Chief of "Weekly Universe" wrote:

"The functioning of starcraft ionic-microwave engines (aka antigravitation or electromagnetic engines) is accompanied by electromagnetic field phenomena, i.e. plasma, which can cause air mass movements."

According to Weekly Universe: "...When real true-life starships descend, says [ufologist] Voron, "ionic-microwave streams interact with the environment...Even more shockingly, starship electromagnetic fields can impact our environment in still other ways -- some of them potentially deadly! UFO sightings have been accompanied by dangerous engine failures in planes, boats, cars -- as well as failures in other mechanical, electronics, communication devices."
